  • 01 — Transferring the Portrait

    We begin with your pet’s photo, carefully transferring their outline, facial proportions, and distinctive features onto the leather as the foundation for the portrait.

  • 02 — Sculpting & Carving

    The leather is carefully moistened, shaped, and sculpted by hand to build depth and dimension. Fine facial features and individual fur textures are then gradually carved into the surface.

  • 03 — Hand Coloring

    Colors are mixed to match your pet and carefully applied in thin layers, gradually building their natural markings, subtle tones, and expressive details.

  • 04 — Finishing & Hand Stitching

    Once the portrait is complete, the leather is carefully finished, assembled, and stitched by hand. Subtle variations in carving, color, and stitching are a natural part of the process, making every finished portrait truly one of a kind.

What kind of photo should I upload?

Upload clear, well-lit photos that show your pet’s face, colors, markings, and other recognizable details. You may also upload additional photos to help the artist better understand your pet’s appearance.

Can I request changes?

Yes. Preview approval is included with every custom portrait at no extra cost. You may request reasonable adjustments during the preview process. Major changes that significantly alter the confirmed order details or require redesigning the portrait may require an additional fee.

Will the finished piece look exactly like the photo?

Each piece is an artistic, handmade interpretation rather than a photographic reproduction. We aim to preserve recognizable expression, color, and markings while keeping the character of true handcraft.
