03 — Made by Hand

Once your order is received, your artist studies the photos you provide and begins creating your leather portrait by hand, carefully bringing your pet’s unique features into the piece.

04 — Preview & Approval

Before final completion, we’ll send you a preview of your custom piece for approval. You can request reasonable adjustments according to our Revision & Approval Policy.

A closer look at how our leather portraits are shaped, carved, colored and finished by hand.

CRAFT 01 — Transferring the Portrait

We begin with your pet’s photo, carefully transferring their outline, facial proportions, and distinctive features onto the leather as the foundation for the portrait.

CRAFT 02 — Sculpting & Carving

The leather is carefully moistened, shaped, and sculpted by hand to build depth and dimension. Fine facial features and individual fur textures are then gradually carved into the surface.

CRAFT 03 — Hand Coloring

Colors are mixed to match your pet and carefully applied in thin layers, gradually building their natural markings, subtle tones, and expressive details.

CRAFT 04 — Finishing & Assembly

Once the portrait is complete, the leather is carefully finished, assembled, and stitched by hand. Subtle variations in carving, color, and stitching are a natural part of the process, making every finished portrait truly one of a kind.
